These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and V3rse Labs ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Aniv3rse application, website, and related services (collectively, "the Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Aniv3rse. If you are under 16 years old and located in the European Union, you must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before creating an account.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements. If we discover that a user is under the minimum age, we will immediately terminate the account and delete all associated data.

You agree to use Aniv3rse only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
Aniv3rse allows you to create content such as anime reviews, notes, and ratings ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content to community features (such as feeds visible to other users), you grant V3rse Labs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display that content within the Service for the purposes of operating community features.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that it does not violate any third-party rights and complies with these Terms.
⚠️ Anime titles, cover images, synopses, scores, and related metadata displayed in Aniv3rse are sourced from MyAnimeList via the unofficial Jikan API. All anime content is the property of its respective copyright holders. Aniv3rse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MyAnimeList or any anime studio or publisher.
We use anime data solely to help you track and discover anime. We do not claim ownership of any anime content, images, or intellectual property belonging to third parties.
The Aniv3rse name, logo, design, gamification system (XP, levels, badges, ranks), and original code are the intellectual property of V3rse Labs. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.
The Naruto-inspired rank names (Genin, Chūnin, Jōnin, etc.) are used as cultural references and are the property of their respective rights holders.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Aniv3rse, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any anime data sourced from third parties.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, V3RSE LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
We strive to keep Aniv3rse available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time for maintenance, legal reasons, or any other reason, with or without notice.
If we decide to shut down the Service permanently, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email and in-app notification, and give users the ability to export their data.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by contacting us at aniv3rse.support@gmail.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Greece.
For EU users, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under EU consumer protection law.
